Shishunaga - Shishunaga completely annexed Avanti. He shifted his capital from Patliputra to Vaishali. After his death his son Kalashoka became the next ruler.

Kalashoka - Also known as Kakvarna. During the tenure of Kalashoka, Second Buddhist council was convened in 383 BC at Vaishali, in which informal division of Buddhism happened.

Kalashoka was assassinated by a person named Mahapadma Nanda who established Nanda dynasty in Magadha in 344 BC. It was the first non-kshatriya dynasty of Magadha.

(Kalashoka had an extra-marital relation with a Shudra lady named Padma. They had a son named Mahapadma Nanda but Kalashoka refused to accept it so Mahapadma Nanda assassinated Kalashola. Also, because of this he took resolve to eliminate all Kshatriya from Magadha)
